La Petite Gerda

‘A Magical Fairytale for any Age’
Adapted from the original classic Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale, Little Gerda (first produced in 2023 with Footsbarn Theatre) is one girl’s quest to save her best friend, Kay, from the clutches of the Snow Queen.

On Gerda’s epic journey, she meets a real princess, is attacked by robbers, rides on the back of a talking reindeer and a singing crow and discovers a courage she never knew she had.
Common Ground Theatre brings to life this children’s classic tale with its trademark style of rich storytelling, masks, puppetry and live music.

Little Gerda is an imaginative retelling of a lovely story with a message, comprising beautifully sung songs, excellent acting and creative storytelling – a great way to introduce the young to musical theatre
