Common Ground Theatre pays tribute to Dr. Floyd Gaffney
Saturday June 14, 2008 at 6PM
"This is Gaffney"

“This is Gaffney” was Dr. Gaffney's signature greeting and one of his most memorable lines
- a constant reminder of his humor and larger-than-life personality. “This is Gaffney,” is the first annual birthday tribute and fundraiser designed to commemorate Gaffney's birthday and thank his friends while raising funds for CGT's arts education programs.
"This is Gaffney" will present a concert in the auditorium featuring artistic expressions of Dr. Gaffney's life and work
through dance, music, and drama that showcase some of the productions that were so dear to his heart and the talents of the many local artists he mentored.
"This is Gaffney” will include a Silent Auction and Reception - a chance to bid on experiences donated by local organizations and businesses. Local Chefs will provide food and beverage stations.
"This is Gaffney" will include an Oportunity Drawing - a chance to win two tickets to shows we selected on Broadway in New York and on the Strip in Las Vegas.
"This is Gaffney" will be a momentous occasion sure to bring back fond memories of his life and make joyful new ones
